Northwest awards recognizing achievement in quality

The Culture of Quality is the name given to Northwest Missouri State University's continuous quality improvement program. As the first institution of higher education to practice this form of management, Northwest has strengthened all aspects of undergraduate and graduate education and enriched campus living. This innovative program, which remains unique among the nation's colleges and universities, was introduced to the University by President Dean L. Hubbard when he became Northwest's ninth president in 1984. Under his leadership, the University has received state, national and international recognition as both pioneer in and practitioner of quality.
