If you have a group of 10 or more students, in 8th grade or older that are looking for a great educational opportunity, bring them to Northwest Missouri State University for a day! Upon arrival, your group will be greeted by Student Ambassadors that will showcase our beautiful campus to you. The tour will last approximately one and half hours. Following your tour, your group will meet with an Admissions Representative who will discuss the Admission’s Process, Financial Assistance and Scholarships. They are also available to answer any questions that you or your students may have.
Transportation to Northwest Missouri State University will be provided for your group if your organization is a grant funded program by the Federal Government and/or if this is the group's first visit to the Northwest campus. The funding for this opportunity is limited and will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
Students in your group have the option of bringing their own lunch to enjoy anywhere on campus, such as, Colden Pond, The Centennial Gardens, or The Bell Tower. If your group prefers, they can purchase lunch at the J. W. Jones Student Union where there’s a food court with many dining options.
The Office of Admissions is happy to welcome group visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. We ask that you register at least two weeks before your visit to give us ample time to prepare for you. To schedule a group tour, please call 1-800-633-1175 today!
We look forward to seeing your group here at Northwest Missouri State University!
There are a few things that we would like you to keep in mind when scheduling your group visit:
Access may be limited during particular times of year due to our academic calendar.
Plan enough time for traveling to campus; being punctual will ensure that your group has enough time to enjoy the visit.
If your group has members under the age of 18, please prove sufficient adult chaperones; our student tour guides cannot act as chaperones while providing a quality tour. We recommend one adult per 8-10 students.
