A Green Campus
At Northwest, we don't just bleed green, we think green, too! Northwest has been using alternative fuels like wood chips, paper pellets and animal waste since 1982 - and they provide 80 to 85 percent of the thermal energy needs of our campus.
Northwest also recycles aluminum, plastic, paper, cardboard and other materials all across campus.
State and national orginizations have recognized Northwest for its energy conservation efforts.
