Mission

The Center for Information Technology in Education will play an integral part in Northwest Missouri State University's effort to enhance student learning through the use of technology. CITE will operate in such a way as to capitalize on the talents of Northwest's faculty and provide them with an opportunity to advance their understanding of information technology's applications to learning, to develop relevand applications for their fields, and to spend time with their colleagues helping them apply information technology to their courses and programs. A more comprehensive vision for CITE is the leadership role it will play in advancing Northwest as Missouri's center for the testing and development of personal computer applications for the enhancement of learning and the state's leader in utilizing the full potential of information technology to modularize learning through using multimedia and other means.
