Returning the Notebook

Notebook Return Location

To return your notebook computer, please go to the Electronic Campus Support Center, which is located across the street from Owens Library.

If you have questions about returning your notebook computer, please call the Help Desk at (660) 562-1634.

Notebook Return Policy

 

For Full-time Undergraduate and Graduate Students

You must return your notebook computer within 5 business days of withdrawing from campus housing or on the last day of finals week of the Spring Trimester, whichever is sooner.

The latest the notebook computer may be returned without being charged a replacement fee is the first business day after finals week. Failure to return your notebook computer will result in a $1,500.00 replacement cost fine.

If you are preregistered for summer or fall classes as a full-time student, you may retain your notebook computer for the summer and a summer notebook rental fee will automatically be applied to your account. If you have questions contact the Help Desk at (660) 562-1634.

For Part-time Students Who Are Renting A Notebook For the Trimester 

You must return your notebook computer to the Gateway Electronic Campus Support Center before or on the last day of finals week or by the expiration date indicated on your rental agreement, whichever is sooner.

The latest the notebook computer may returned without being charged a replacement fee is the first business day after finals week. Failure to return your notebook computer will result in a $1,500.00 replacement cost fine.

If you are preregistered for summer classes or fall classes and would like to rent a notebook computer for the summer, you will need to visit the Gateway Electronic Campus Support Center to fill out a summer rental contract. Individuals already renting a campus notebook, must also visit the Gateway Electronic Campus Support Center to fill out a new rental contract for summer.
