Job Description

Provide piano accompaniment for private students during their weekly voice lessons (lesson times are arranged between the private student and instructor); Must be available to perform with students on frequent Wednesday afternoon recitals from 3-5 pm; Initiate communication with students or patrons prior to events; Work unsupervised; Demonstrate initiative to practice scores/arrangements/pieces; Ability to play piano proficiency equal to level required to accompany at music contests; Pay attention to detail; Exhibit professionalism and courtesy; Punctual, dependable and reliable; Flexible with scheduling; Demonstrate ability to work positively with others; Appreciate music.

Qualifications

Must be able to play piano accompaniments (for students taking voice lessons) of moderate difficulty; available Wednesdays from 3-5 pm to accompany on music student recitals; Complete audition/skill level test; Good sight reading skills.
