General Information

MCTS is a consortium of several universities in the USA, UK, Australia, and others across Europe which come together to teach students home curriculums while abroad. MCTS is housed at Roosevelt Academy, an honors College of Utrecht University in Middleburg, Netherlands. Students will be allowed to choose one course from the Roosevelt Academy's offerings at the 200 or 300 level.  They will take this course semester-long and will then choose three other courses from the MCTS course offerings. MCTS offers two semester-length programs, plus a one-month summer program each year.  

Mission Statement

The Maastricht Center for Transatlantic Studies seeks to encourage and promote a transatlantic perspective by providing faculty and students with a unique multicultural environment in order to aid their personal, professional, and academic development.

Housing

MCTS offers off- campus housing. Single room with shared kitchens. Students are responsible for their own meals.

Expenses

Tuition is paid to Northwest (TBA) + a fee paid to MCTS.

This includes a private room, 19 meals per week, books, field trips, Internet and computer access, resident permit fees, orientation fees, and gym facilities.
