Early Childhood Education

This program is designed for students who seek advanced training in the field of early childhood education. Upon completion of the coursework students will have a strong understanding of child development, effective instruction and classroom management strategies, curriculum development, and administration in early childhood settings.

Admission Requirements

  • Make application
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA on undergraduate transcript
  • Submit valid teaching certificate (or statement of deficiencies)
  • Minimum combined score of 700 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE
  • Pass writing assessment
  • Complete Approved Program Form with advisor
