Letter From the President

For the past twenty-five years, Northwest has been a leader in collecting and managing data to add value to the student experience. Many institutions from the United States and abroad have shown in interest Northwest’s approach to data management by benchmarking the Northwest Dashboard. The Dashboard is a data-management tool that graphically displays a set of agreed-upon indicators used to improve processes and outcomes. Many of the indicators that Northwest routinely uses are just as valuable for students, parents and others to be aware of. This site contains a great deal of information about Northwest’s performance in Missouri and nationally.

One of Northwest’s Cultural Core Values is: “we are open and ethical.” As an institution, we feel that it is important to publish information that shows how we operate, especially when it comes to student success, student satisfaction, enrollments and financial responsibility. Even if the measure is not in our favor, it is better for you to know and understand our weaknesses than it is to be kept in the dark; however, it is our commitment to continually improve in those areas and in all areas of the University.
