Three Bearcats Named MIAA Presidential Scholars

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Evan Wilmes, April Miller and Emma Frost-Briley were named MIAA Presidential Scholars, recognizing those student-athletes with cumulative 4.0 grade-point averages in at least two terms of attendance at Northwest. It's the most Northwest Presidential Scholars since four earned the honor 2005-06.
Wilmes is a sophomore linebacker majoring in philsophy while Miller is working on her M.B.A. after a four-year basketball career. Frost-Briley is undeclared after her freshman season on the women's basketball team.
The MIAA honored 63 student-athletes across the league.
