Results from the Woody Greeno/Husker Invitational
Saturday, the Northwest cross country teams competed in the Woody Greeno/Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. The women ran a 6K while the men ran an 8K. The men finished 10th of 25 teams with 295 team points and ninth of 21 teams in the college division. The women finished 19th overall with 503 points and 15th of 21 college teams.
The top finishers for the Bearcat women were Jane Bowness in 101st place with a time of 25:19.1 and Mary Jantz in 104th place with a time of 25:21.8. Top finishers for the men were Zachary Layton in 34th place with a time of 26:39.6 and Trevor Johannsen in 50th place with a time of 27:05.0.
