
MARYVILLE, Mo.—The top nine teams remained unchanged in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll released today.
Nebraska-Omaha (No. 5), Pittsburg State (No. 7) and Northwest (No. 9) all held steady in representing the MIAA in the top 10. Central Missouri raised four spots to No. 20 and Washburn fell to No. 25 following its loss at Fort Hays State.
The Bearcats also remained at No. 9 in the D2Football.com poll. Northwest is one spot ahead of Pittsburg State. Nebraska-Omaha (No. 5), Central Missouri (No. 19) and Washburn (No. 22) give the league five teams in the top 25.
Schedule Change: Nebraska-Omaha has announced a time change for its Sept. 27 game against Northwest. The new start time is 1:30 p.m. The game was originally slated for 6 p.m. at Caniglia Field in Omaha.
