
ST. JOSEPH, Mo.—Northwest Missouri State freshman Jessica Feuerbach shot a 14-over-par 87 to be the bronze medalist at Tuesday’s Missouri Western State Invitational played at Fairview Golf Club. The Bearcats placed third of four teams with a team score of 381.
Fort Hays State, led by Shelby White’s three-over-par 76, won the event by one stroke over Rockhurst with a score of 355. The host-Griffons finished fourth, nine strokes behind Northwest.
Carmen Titus’ round of 82 led three Rockhurst golfers who finished in the top-five. Northwest’s Sarah Hayes shot 93 and finished ninth. Lauren Atkinson finished 15th and Hanna Bowlin and Erin Luchtel tied for 16th place for the Bearcats.
