
MARYVILLE, Mo.—Northwest Missouri State’s women’s golf team wrapped up its inaugural season by placing second at the Bearcat Spring Classic Thursday at Mozingo Lake Golf Course.
The Bearcats shot a combined score of 383. Missouri Western, led by medalist Lexi Webb, won the event with a four-person total of 361.
Webb had two birdies on the day and shot rounds of 40 and 42 to finish with an 18-hole score of 82 (+10). Teammate Jessica Rawdon finished two shots behind Webb in second place. The Griffons had three players finish in the top four.
Jessica Feuerbach shot a 40 on the front nine en route to an 86 and a bronze medal for Northwest. Sydney Askin registered a birdie and finished sixth with a round of 94. Hanna Bowlin (101), Sarah Hayes (102) and Erin Luchtel (102) all placed in the top 10 for the Bearcats.
