
WARRENSBURG, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State track and field recorded five top-three finishes and won one event at the Central Missouri Mule Relays yesterday. Senior Jeff Kanger won the 1,500-meter run by nearly four seconds with a time of 4:09.21.
Junior Tierney Eaton notched a pair of top three performances, finishing in a tie for second in the high jump with a 5-3 and placed third in the long jump with a 16-6. Freshman Kassie Crawford threw 125-1 in the discus throw, finishing second.
Sophomore Ben McKim threw a season-best 51-6.5 in the shot put, finishing third. Freshman T.R. Pursell placed fourth in the 800-meter run and sophomore Eric Rickert finished fifth in the shot put to round out top five finishers for Northwest.
