The office of Volunteer, Service-Learning and Civic Engagement serves both the community and the University as the main source for volunteer opportunities and the benefit of academic endeavors and service goals of the community agencies. We offera wide range of programs that help students become engaged in the community and provide a valuable experience to apply to post-college careers. Volunteer opportunities range from BRUSH (Beautifying Residential House Using Students), Lobby Day, Martin Luther King Day of Civic Engagement, and Alternative Spring Break, students can find something that meet their interest and involvement needs. Volunteer programs at Northwest are not only beneficial to the development of students but also to the improvement of surrounding communities.
