The registration deadline for the Tourin' Bearcats second annual Colorado ski trip has been extended.
The trip is Jan. 2-6, 2008, and includes three days of skiing at Winter Park and three nights' lodging at Beaver Village Condominiums. The trip is sponsored by the Northwest Missouri State University Alumni Association and is open to the public.
Those wishing to participate must reserve their space and submit a $200 deposit by Friday, Sept. 28.
Trip cost starts at $465 per person for skiers, based on six people per condo, and includes round-trip transportation, a three-day lift ticket, three nights' lodging and an evening Bearcat social. Several package options are available for both skiers and non-skiers.
A motorcoach will pick travelers up at central locations in Kansas City, St. Joseph, Maryville and Lincoln, Neb., on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 2, before heading to the Rocky Mountains. The bus will leave Colorado late afternoon on Saturday, Jan. 5, returning by mid-morning on Sunday, Jan. 6.
Final payment is due Nov. 30, and checks, including the $200 deposit, should be made out to Cotter Travel and mailed to Northwest Missouri State University, Alumni House, 800 University Dr., Maryville, MO, 64468.
