Banner training may affect material deliveries

Due to upcoming Banner training for Purchasing Department personnel, there will be times when a limited number of staff will be available to serve University clients with regard to material deliveries.

During training times, Ron Heller, material handler, will cover both stores and receiving, which will leave him unable to leave the warehouse. This will affect table and chair deliveries, moving, freight deliveries, bulk mailings/deliveries and emergency stores deliveries. Anyone in need of these services should make their requests as soon as possible.

Banner training dates for Purchasing Department personnel are listed below:

Dec. 4-6
Feb. 5-7
Feb. 26-28
March 11-13
March 25-27
April 22-24
April 29-May 1
May 13-15

Events that may be affected by this schedule include Greek Week (week of March 10) and commencement (May 3).

The department plans to perform a majority of the normal set-up work for spring commencement a week prior to the event. A vehicle will be available for those needing to pick up supplies or equipment, but delivery personnel may not be available.
